As a high school student at John Marshall in Northside ISD (San Antonio) I remember well the vast and empty space between Wurzbach Road and Kerrville! That was 35+ years ago. Today, living in the Texas Hill Country is “home” and presents a vastly different landscape than my high school memories provide.

After an almost 8 year assignment with USAA in Tampa, Florida my family and I returned to the San Antonio area, making our home in Fair Oaks Ranch 21 years ago. What a great decision that has continued to be. Our 3 sons graduated from Boerne High School and have gone on to be very successful in their fields. We have the great joy of 6 grandchildren who are the light of our lives. They are my I recently retired from NISD as a school counselor. My experiences as a counselor were rich and rewarding while, at the same time, often heart wrenching. I learned much about myself and others over the span of 16 years counseling children and families.

Prior to my work at NISD, upon our return to Texas, I was active for almost 8 years as a Realtor with Bradfield Properties and Kuper Sotheby’s. It was a great honor and joy to be so actively engaged with people while making one of the most important decisions of their lives. From the first time home buyer to the seasoned buyer looking for “just the right thing” I never tired of the work. When I had the opportunity to return to real estate working with and for Robin Saunders as her Executive Assistant I knew that my love of real estate, people, and my experience as a counselor would be the “marrying” of my work experiences continuing the work I enjoyed so much.

Together, Robin and I offer our clients almost 30 years of combined real estate experience. Our commitment to service, trust, and integrity are unwavering. For both of us, we view our work as Realtors as a ministry of service helping our clients navigate the waters of buying and selling real estate; waters that can get rough and uncertain, at times. What a privilege it is to be invited into this very intimate experience in the life of a family!

Life is about experiences and learning and growing from each one. Within that we find opportunities to strengthen and help others in similar circumstances or those in which we are particularly trained. I’m amazed at how my “education” continues on a daily basis and I’m thankful for it every day!
